Hello everyone!
Today, I’m coming to you with a wonderful plant/weed that I can guarantee you can find almost anywhere. It’s called pineapple weed – why? Because it faintly smells of pineapple! It belongs to the same family as chamomile with the difference that this plant doesn’t grow white petals.
Where does it grow?
It grows on dry ground, in fields, meadows, next to roads, anywhere outside, basically.
What does it look like?
I’m sure by now you’ve figured out what it looks like. The green part looks like a chamomile plant, or even like dill. The flower buds are yellow, no petals, if you roll them between your fingers, you’ll smell pineapple.
What can I use it for?
The main purpose of this plant is to make tea out of it. Just place 5-10 bulbs in a mug, pour hot water over them, leave them in for about 10 mins and you’re done!
Have you ever tried pineapple weed? Or do you have other suggested uses? Let us know in the comments!
Till next time,
Suzie + Ellie
