Fresh Mint & Lemon tea to boost immune!
Next time you are food shopping grab a little mint plant from the fresh herbs section and bring it home! (Or if you are lucky enough to have some in your garden do use that!) Mint is actually very healing, particularly for the digestive system. Its also good for the immune, can help ease congestion and is even good for the skin cells – you could use it in a facial steam session!
Combining it fresh with Lemon bursting with vitamin C makes it a SUPER HEALING CHAMPION OF A DRINK!
Help get your immune back on track try this Fresh Mint Tea combined with lemon and squeeze of manuka honey yum!
I always start with some cold water in the bottom of my mug about 1/4 full, (to make sure the vitamin C in the lemon is not boiled off) to this I add:
1 tea spoon of Manuka honey
Grate a little rind of an unwaxed lemon
Add the juice of 1/4 a lemon
A few sprigs of Fresh Mint (about 5 leaves is a good guide), stir
Then top up mug with boiled water, stir again and allow to steep for a few minutes.
You can also make this in a tea pot. Enjoy!

Thank for sharing this wonderful recipe of yours! It’s nice to learn that mint is good for the skin cells. I’ll definitely try this out some time.
